MAKING MINDFULNESS VIDEOS – MIA LILY DREW

I have found that making mindfulness videos has been beneficial to me in multiple ways. My videos generally consist of time lapsed painting or drawing, with soft music underscoring a voice-over which is made up of positive affirmations, guided meditation, mindfulness and comforting chat. I feel like making these videos is a brilliant creative outlet for me as I have complete artistic control over the creation and production of it. As well as this, I believe making these videos is actually quite beneficial for my own mental health; focusing on something that is intentionally calming, quiet, and relaxing helps me as i engage with it myself whilst making it. The creating art side of it is helpful for that too it is a very therapeutic and enjoyable process for me altogether.
