Q. What are some of the benefits of being a Youth Ambassador?
There are opportunities to engage in projects to benefit the community and contributing to improving lives and the wider community by making positive a difference. You’ll learn more about yourself, developing a wide range of skills, increase your knowledge of organisations and you’ll get to meet and network with a wide range of people.

Q. Is there an age limit to becoming a Youth Ambassador?
The minimum age is 16 with no maximum. While many of our ambassadors are younger, we also have older team members doing a variety of roles who are actively engaged within Att10tive.
Q. What skills can you develop from being a Youth Ambassador?
You can develop various skills to boost confidence and employability, including presentation, problem-solving, creativity, project management, leadership and more. We encourage you to take the initiative and introduce new ideas, taking opportunities to explore your hidden talents.
Q. What qualities must a Youth Ambassador need to have?
We require a Youth Ambassador to be enthusiastic about supporting other people, good at time management, able to follow instructions, passionate about helping their community and embracing equality and diversity.
Q. What support or resources are available to a Youth Ambassador?
A Youth Ambassador is inducted into the programme and assigned a mentor from the start of joining. They receive a phased approach to learning, which involves a wide range of training sessions that benefit the business and their own self-development.
Q. What challenges might a Youth Ambassador face, and how can they overcome them?
When a Youth Ambassador first joins the programme, they may come to us with feelings of isolation, lack of confidence, and communication challenges. They might overcome these challenges by getting to know the wider Att10tive team, participating in meetings, having one-on-one conversations with their mentor, attending taking advantage of the many training sessions offered.
Q. How can a Youth Ambassador measure the success of their efforts?
A Youth Ambassador will be able to see how their involvement contributes to Att10tive’s impact within the local community. They will gain personal skills development and will receive regular feedback from the Att10tive team and key stakeholders. In addition the team produces videos demonstrating the impact of the projects and workshops

Q. Are Youth Ambassadors expected to attend regular meetings or events, and where are they held?
A Youth Ambassador must attend weekly meetings, such as a whole team meeting, a mentoring meeting, and training sessions when scheduled. Weekly meetings are held online except during Youth Ambassador Week and the annual general meeting when in-person attendance is required. The youth ambassador can select the events and workshops they wish to attend depending on their availability.
Q. How can a Youth Ambassador effectively promote the programme and its goals?
The Youth Ambassador will share agreed content across social media platforms, such as videos or posters. Ambassadors might also attend networking events or workshops to help maintain and foster future working partnerships with a wide range of organisations.
Q. What are some examples of successful projects and workshops led by Youth Ambassadors?
Some examples of projects and workshops include I Am Unique, BSafe, Culture Storm, and workshops on Stop & Search, Employability Skills, Knife Crime workshops called Taking The Right Path and Leadership and Management to name a few.

Q. How is a Youth Ambassador selected, and what is the application process like?
To become a Youth Ambassador, you can express your interest through the ATT10TIVE website or by speaking directly to a member of the ATT10TIVE team at a workshop or event. An application form will be sent. This may lead to an invitation to an interview.
